STEPHAN STAMM, born in 1963 in Schaffhausen (Switzerland), already began taking photographs during school time. Since
that time, the camera is a faithful companion on my travels. I am
always in search of the expressive image.
Did I formerly focus in sports photography, now I shifted my activities into
landscape and wildlife photography. In 2006 I began with underwater photography at
the Red Sea and expanded my skills in the Maldives and the Ningaloo Reef.
Preferred travel destinations are Southern Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Norway and the USA and wherever there are beautiful photographic spots. Also the beauties of Europe and Switzerland are my favourites.
Education:
Various courses with well-known photographers such as Lorenz A. Fischer, Florian Schulz, Dominik Baur and Nikon Ambassador Stefan Forster.
In September 2013 I completed a one-year diploma course "Photography" at the center of education in CH-Baden with extremely experienced and well-known lecturers (Basics of Photography: Jürgen Denter, Canon luminary; Macro & Available Light: Andreas Hurni; Portrait & Nude Art Photography: Stefan Peter; Documentary & Sport: Andy Muller; Video recording with DSLR: Alain Renold; Image editing and organization: Michel Mayerle).
